Hi! I'm Annie. I am 18 years old and I love to cook and bake. I have grown up cooking and baking with my grandparents and my mom and a few years ago I started to find a real interest in it. Since then I find cooking and baking my go to activity when I am looking for something to do and it always helps me to feel happy. I am a very creative person so during quarantine I have been doing lots of cooking but also have started painting. Some other things I enjoy are traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

A poem by me
Butter simmered in the summertime
Like the golden sun setting behind powdered sugar peaks;
You said a little extra sugar was no crime
And the recipe would require numerous techniques.
You held my soft little hand
As we began to mix;
For every tablespoon of vanilla to get rid of the bland
Was a cup of hugs and kisses, a sure fire fix.
I tossed the flour as it fell like snow
Our giggles garnished the room;
Sprinkles of the rainbow added a glow
My confidence continued to bloom.
Your smile beaming down on me from above
While I stare up at the oven and wait impatiently below;
Our creation was frosted with love
Your apron was waiting for me to grow.
